Gold Point Real Estate – Legacy Website (While at Agent Image)
During my time at Agent Image, I contributed to the refresh of GoldPointRealEstate.com, a long-standing real estate website that continues to generate valuable leads for the company.
Originally built with Flash animation, the site needed modernization to align with current web standards—without disrupting the visual identity or successful performance it had maintained for years.
My Role & Highlights:
- Flash Animation Replacement: I helped replace outdated Flash elements with a modern static hero image, preserving the original layout and aesthetic while ensuring mobile compatibility and faster load times.
- Legacy Respect: Since the website was still effectively generating leads, the client preferred a minimal-change approach, keeping most design and layout elements intact.
- IDX Broker Integration: The property listing functionality remained powered by IDX Broker, providing reliable, searchable real estate data to users.
- Maintenance-Focused Execution: The refresh was about stability and subtle modernization, not a full redesign—allowing the site to retain its historical value while functioning on modern platforms.
- This project exemplified the challenge of balancing legacy preservation with practical modernization, especially for high-performing business websites.
